1. Introduction
Muze Gazette (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our digital journal.
We operate a voice-to-blog platform where audio recordings are transcribed and transformed into written articles. This policy applies to all visitors, readers, and users of our site.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Audio Recordings: When a voice recording is submitted through the platform, we collect and process the audio file to generate a written article.
- Communications: If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- No analytics or tracking: We do not use web analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies, and we do not build profiles of readers.
- Infrastructure logs: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical request data, such as IP address and browser user agent, to serve and protect the site.
3. How We Use Your Information

- To publish and display content on our digital journal
- To improve and optimize our platform
- To respond to enquiries you send us by email
4. Data Processing & Third Parties
We use third-party service providers to process certain data:
- Cloudflare (R2, D1, Workers, KV): Our infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare’s edge network. Audio files, database records, and cached content are stored securely within Cloudflare’s services.
- Groq: Audio transcription and text generation are processed through Groq’s AI inference platform. Audio files are sent to Groq for transcription and are not retained by Groq after processing.
- Tavily: Research augmentation for article generation is performed via Tavily’s search API.
Each third-party provider has their own privacy and data handling policies. We ensure contracts and data processing agreements are in place where required.
5. Data Retention
Audio recordings are retained only as long as necessary to generate articles and for quality assurance. Published articles and their underlying audio are retained for the duration of the platform’s operation. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

7. Cookies & Tracking
We use a minimal set of cookies and local storage solely for functional purposes:
- Theme Preference: We store your light/dark mode preference in local storage.
- Session Data: Dashboard authentication uses a session cookie. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
8. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls on our infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
